Food menu translation system for restaurants and hotels - now online
Restolingua’s online menu translation system has been created by professionals of the hospitality industry with improved service and sales to international discerning guests in mind.
The payment of a low yearly all-inclusive fee of € 365. -, entitles users of the service to edit, format and print their menus.
With the translation of the components of dishes in up to eight languages (from and to): Dutch, French, German, Japanese, Italian, Spanish, U.K. English and U.S. English, foreign visitors are easily guided to order a large variety of culinary creations.
An early endorser of previous versions of the system, Michel A. Escoffier, Chairman of the Escoffier Foundation, authorized the founders to include all culinary items of the “Guide Culinaire” of Auguste Escoffier in the extensive database.
Today’s more than 23,000 culinary items and menu expressions will soon also be available in Chinese, Russian, Arabic, Greek and Portuguese thanks to Restolingua’s partnership with the Association of European Hotel and Tourism Schools (www.aeht.eu) and Disciples Escoffier Greater China Chapter (www.disciples-escoffier-china.org) which covers Mainland China, Hong Kong, Macau and even Thailand.
